Family Matters Counseling

Family Matters Counseling is dedicated to meeting mental health and substance abuse treatment needs of families in the Fort Worth and surrounding areas.   Counseling services are provided to children, adolescents and families for various issues including anxiety, depression, trauma and disruptive behaviors.  These services are provided by master’s level therapists.  Lena Pope Home is also licensed by the state of Texas to provide substance abuse treatment services.  These services include both assessments and treatment groups.  Lena Pope Counseling Services accepts many insurance providers, including Medicaid.  LPH also provides financial assistance, based on income and family size, for individuals without insurance.  Our goal is to ensure all members of the community have access to mental health and substance abuse treatment services

In addition to our counseling program, Lena Pope Home offers many additional services focused on the youth and their families.   Through partnerships with area cities, counties and state agencies, we are able to offer a variety of programs aimed at preserving families and improving their functioning.  These programs may take place in an office, at the home or in the community.  They may also be provided as group, individual or family counseling depending on the program provided.
