Family Matters Counseling
Lena Pope Home is committed to providing high quality, effective, accessible services to our community. The Family Matters Counseling program is one way that Lena Pope Home can make that happen. Family Matters offers counseling services for children, adolescents, adults and families who reside in Tarrant and surrounding counties. Services include individual, family and group therapy and are provided by highly qualified mental health professionals who are dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals. Our counseling program accepts many insurances as well as offering financial assistance to qualifying individuals. Our goal is to make counseling services available to as many as possible, regardless of insurance or financial means.
In addition to our counseling program, Lena Pope Home offers many additional services focused on the youth and their families. Through partnerships with area cities, counties and state agencies, we are able to offer a variety of programs aimed at preserving families and improving their functioning. These programs may take place in an office, at the home or in the community. They may also be provided as group, individual or family counseling depending on the program provided. While some of these specific programs are only available through referral, we offer alternative services that are available.
In addition to counseling services, Lena Pope Home also provides a vast array of services including comprehensive in- home and/or in community services. These include:
- Intensive case management for Family Drug Court families;
- Substance Abuse treatment and educational groups and individual sessions for adults and adolescents , using an evidence based treatment model;
- Second Opportunity for Success, a first offender program comprised of skills based groups for first offender/at risk populations referred by local municipalities;
- Must Trust parenting groups;
- Juvenile Drug Court in home and assessment services;
- Wraparound services for high risk families with children 0-6 years of age;
- Support services at Butler Housing include parenting classes and skills classes for Dads;
- Parenting with Love and Limits, an evidence based parenting program;
- Functional Family Therapy, an evidence based family therapy treatment model utilized with juveniles referred by TYC and TCJS.
