Second Grade

Welcome to Second Grade at Chapel Hill Academy! We are excited to embark on this journey with you and your child. As a 2nd grader, your child will learn to become a better reader, writer, and mathematician as well as a great scientist as we study how to apply the Scientific Method in the real world. Chapel Hill Acadmey hosts a Science Fair each year and as a 2nd Grader, your child will be eligible to participate. In Social Studies we will learn about our world, communities both near and far, and the people that helped shape America into the country it is today.

Our Conference Period is M-F at 10:15-11:10 or by appointment.

We are looking forward to building a relationship with your child and partnering with you as parents.If you are interested in helping out in class, please let your child’s teacher know. Your support makes all the difference, and we are grateful. We look forward to a great year at Chapel Hill Academy!
