We are University Bound!

CHA students are learning about the importance of college at a young age.  Staff want to ensure that there is no mistake--college can be an attainable goal and all students should be well prepared to be critical thinkers at an early age.  Studies have shown that college readiness and stamina is largely based on how well students can utilize their critical thinking skills!

Something to Celebrate!

Chapel Hill Academy was named a Recognized School by the Texas Education Agency.   The 2010-2011 school year was the first year that Chapel Hill Academy’s student body included third graders. Ninety-one percent (91%) of the 3rd grade Reading scores met the standard with 38% reaching Commended Performance.  Eighty-four percent (84%) of the 3rd grade Math scores met the standard with 25% reaching Commended Performance.

After three summer months of major additions and renovations, including new classrooms, the 412 CHA Eagles will begin the year celebrating their Recognized status.  “The students were well prepared and enthusiastic about the testing.  I could not be prouder,” says Victoria Sendejo, Principal, Chapel Hill Academy.

Technology and Beyond!

Today students are surrounded by high-tech gear in their homes and toys.  We capture that familiarity and interest with academically research based technology in the classrooms at CHA.  Ranging from interactive whiteboards and computer learning centers in each classroom to daily computer lab time in the media library working on academic remediation, tutorial, or enrichment software programs, CHA students are engaged in learning through various modalities.
