Ann Ellis

Ms. Ellis holds an interdisciplinary degree in Social Work, Sociology, and Psychology with a specialization in Communications and Recreation from the University of North Texas, and has an Alternative Certification in Elementary Education. Ms. Ellis has been a behavior management specialist for over 25 years.  She states, "It is my desire to nurture and empower children to be excited about learning and developing self-discipline as they grow more self-confident in the process".  She adds, "It is an honor to be a part of the Chapel Hill Academy family where children are loved and feel at home."  This is Ms. Ellis' fourth year at Chapel Hill Academy.

Norma Salazar

Mrs. Salazar worked with the City of Dallas for over thirty years.  After retiring, she realized that she wanted to pursue a second career working with children.  She reports, "I'm here to work with children in a team environment where my past experience in community relations will enhance and support student excellence".  This is Mrs. Salazar's third year at Chapel Hill Academy.  Mrs. Salazar is a grandmother of 12 and loves spending time with both her grandchildren and the students at CHA.

Kristine Alexander

Kristine Alexander worked in the medical field for over 7 years. She began to volunteer at Chapel Hill Academy after her oldest son entered Kindergarten. Kristine played a key role in bringing a PTA to the school.  She was PTA Secretary for two consecutive years and as apart of the PTA she helped to bring programs such as; Health Fair, Mad Science and Fort Worth Zoo's Wild Wonder to the school.  Mrs. Alexander also volunteered where needed, whether it was in the school office, helping the students in the classroom and lunch room. It was while doing these things that Mrs. Alexander realized that she wanted to change her career path from the medical field to elementary education. Mrs. Alexander states, " Chapel Hill Academy is in the fore front of educating our children and I am excited to be apart of it". This is Mrs. Alexander’s 2nd year as  a Teacher Assistant at Chapel Hill Academy.

Antoine Washington

Mr. Washington is an instructional assistant for kindergarten.  He's been a Lena Pope Home employee for 4 years.  Prior to joining the CHA family, Mr. Washington was a Behavior Interventionist in the JJAEP program.  Mr. Washington has over 8 years of experience working with children ages 3-18.  Mr. Washington enjoys playing a positive role in the lives of all children.  He is currently working on obtaining his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.
