Carol Nickelson
Ms. Nickelson graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. She is certified to teach in EC-4th and ESL. Ms. Nickelson is a third year teacher at Chapel Hill Academy and provides a learning environment for her students through structure and nurturing. She loves to see her students mature, learn, and grow over the course of the year. She has one grown daughter who is also a teacher and two granddaughters. Her favorite pastime is playing with "her girls", and she also enjoys reading, gardening, and travel.
Christal Suson
Mrs. Suson graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is certified EC-4th and ESL. This is Mrs. Suson's sixth year teaching Pre-K and fourth year at Chapel Hill Academy. “I love teaching Pre-K and using my creativity in the classroom” she states. She focuses on preparing the students for Kindergarten through daily lessons and regularly evaluates each student for any needs. “Since a young child I have always wanted to be a teacher” she adds which is clearly noted in her determination to help her students succeed. She takes great pride in the success of her students and in helping to lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
