
Victoria Sendejo
A native of North Fort Worth and a graduate of North Side High School and the University of North Texas, Victoria Sendejo holds a Master’s of Education along with a Texas Teacher Certificate and a Principal Certificate. She has also received training in the Art of Leadership at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education and is an active member of The Principal’s Center at Harvard, the Texas State Charter Association, the Texas State Network of Assessment Professionals, the Texas Association of School Administrators, and the Association of School Curriculum and Development. Mrs. Sendejo has worked as an educator for twelve years holding the positions of high school English Language Arts Teacher, Special Education Teacher for grades EC – 12, Special Education Coordinator, Assistant Principal in Elementary and High Schools, and Principal. Mrs. Sendejo begins her third year as principal of CHA this fall, and is proud to welcome 412 students in grades Pre-K thru 4th grade to a “Recognized Campus”. She and her staff strive to have each student at Chapel Hill Academy experience academic success and to feel deeply valued and cared about as an individual. Her leadership style has cultivated a positive, goal-aspiring campus culture among her staff and students, as they all have one common goal - “CHA Students are University Bound!” At CHA, students are empowered with skills of self confidence and self respect. In addition, Mrs. Sendejo and her staff expect that all students take ownership and have pride in their school, as well as, demonstrate responsibility for their work and be accountable for their actions. She has developed a school focus on literacy, the arts, and technology and maintains rigorous expectations in regards to students’ academics and behavior. Mrs. Sendejo works to promote the development of viable partnerships with her students, colleagues, faculty/staff, parents and business/community members. She also recognizes that parents have a choice in their child's educational setting and appreciates the opportunity to serve your child at Chapel Hill Academy.
Jeni McNeeley
Mrs. McNeeley is excited to be serving as CHA’s Academic Coordinator this year. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Columbia College and a Master of Education (Curriculum & Instruction emphasis) from Tarleton State University. This is her third year at CHA and her seventh year in education. She came to CHA from Monnig Middle School in the FWISD, where she was Teacher of the Year for the 2007-2008 school year. She holds numerous state certifications, including Principal, Generalist EC-4th, ELA and Reading 4-8, ELA and Reading 8-12, Special Education EC-12, and ESL. Mrs. McNeeley has also been an Adjunct Instructor for Tarrant County College, where she taught developmental reading classes during summer sessions. When not teaching tomorrow’s leaders, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, and spending time with her husband and teenage son.

Jennifer Carpenter
Mrs. Carpenter has been employed with Lena Pope Home since 1994 and has worked in various programs including the residential drug treatment program, outpatient counseling program, and therapeutic foster care. She has a Master’s degree of Science in Social Work from University of Texas in Arlington, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Her knowledge and years of experience working with children have been an asset to Chapel Hill Academy since March of 2009. Mrs. Carpenter provides community based resources to help meet the needs of CHA students and their parents. She offers parenting classes and makes referrals for family and individual counseling, thus empowering the family unit as a whole. In addition, Mrs. Carpenter is responsible for the Title 1 Parental Involvement programs and Volunteer Coordination at CHA. Mrs. Carpenter hopes that her efforts are making a positive impact in the life of each CHA student.

Robert Ramirez
Mr. Ramirez has over 12 years of experience in childhood education and over 20 years of experience in behavior management within the classroom and residential setting. This is his fourth year at Chapel Hill Academy and his 12th year working at Lena Pope Home. "I strive to be a positive influence to the students and staff at Chapel Hill Academy" he states. Mr. Ramirez' responsibilities include supervising the Instructional Assistants at CHA. His leadership at CHA is integral to the success of the students and staff. Mr. Ramirez' personal goals include completing his Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and continuing to promote the success of our students at Chapel Hill Academy.

Shay Grannan
Shay Grannan has been a member of the Lena Pope Home since 1981. She has worked as an administrative assistant in accounting, residential treatment, foster care and the executive offices. She joined Chapel Hill Academy for the 2010-2011 school year as State and Federal Programs Coordinator and administrative assistant to Mrs. Sendejo. Combining her accounting skills with her love of children has made this a challenging yet very rewarding position. Ms. Grannan works closely with the Texas Education Agency to ensure compliance with all funding and reporting, maintains data on students at CHA, serves as secretary to the CHA Board of Trustees and helps keep our administrative offices running smoothly. Her personal time is spent as an active member of the American Legion and spending time with her grandchildren.

Rachel Olivarez
Rachel Olivarez is a native of Fort Worth and earned an Associate of Liberal Arts degree from TCC. Mrs. Olivarez worked with children in after school porgrams before joining the administrative staff in a medical office. She is computer savvy and learned much of her software and practical computer skills through media and publishing work at her church. After a brief period as a homemaker and home schooler, Mrs. Olivarez began her experience with Chapel Hill Academy as a parent office volunteer when the second of her two children started Kindergarten at CHA. She ventured into substitute teaching at the school. She has earnestly become an active parent volunteer, was PTA president for the 2010-2011 school year, and is now an employee as administrative assistant. She states, "I feel very blessed to be in such a positive enviornment for both students and staff and am pleased to be able to use my experience to work at CHA in this position."
