Chapel Hill Academy Charter School

Since 1930, Lena Pope Home, Inc. has been working with children and families to help create hope, happiness, and success.  We believe that each child can achieve great things when they are encouraged to learn in ways that work for them.  Chapel Hill Academy Charter School opens doors to this success and inspires hope for the future!

Chapel Hill Academy is an Open-Enrollment Public Charter School and does not charge tuition.  We are excited to begin our 6th year with the 2013-2014 school year, serving Pre-K – 5th grades.  Children from the following school districts are eligible to apply:

• Arlington
• Crowley
• Fort Worth

Our lottery process for the 2013-2014 school year was completed on Friday, February 22, 2013.  Names that were drawn for open slots in the 2013-2014 school year have been contacted.  Remaining names were drawn and placed on a waiting list.  

Chapel Hill Academy will continue to accept online applications throughout the year, which will be added to the waiting list.  To apply for the 2013-2014 school year click the Apply Now button to fill out the online application.  
 
Pre-Kindergarten applicants:  Children must be 4 years old by September 1, 2013 to apply for Pre-K, and must meet one of the following criteria (verification will be required):

• Economically Disadvantaged (household income is at a level consistent with eligibility free and/or reduced meals through the National School Lunch Program)
• English as a Second Language
• Homeless
• Dependent of an active duty military family, or of a member of the Armed Forces killed while on duty
• Child is, or has been, in the conservatorship of Child Protective Services
