2014-2015 OPEN ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
Chapel Hill Academy is an Open-Enrollment Public Charter School and does not charge tuition. We are excited to begin our 7th year with the 2014-2015 school year, serving Pre-K – 5th grades.
Chapel Hill Academy utilizes a lottery process for enrollment. The random drawing lottery was conducted on Friday, February 28, 2014. All applicants submitted between January 20th and February 27th at 4pm were entered into the drawing for available slots in each grade level and those names drawn will be contacted no later than Friday, March 7th. A waiting list has been created from the remaining names.
We will continue to accept applications on the website which will be added to the waiting list. Openings that occur throughout the enrollment process and the 2014-2015 school year will be filled from the waiting list. To apply, click the “Apply Online Now” button on the left of this screen. Enter all required information and submit. Please do not submit your application more than once, duplicate entries will be deleted.
Children who reside within the boundaries of the following school districts are eligible to apply:
- Fort Worth
- Eagle Mountain-Saginaw
- Lake Worth
- White Settlement
Children must be at least 5 years of age by September 1st to enroll in Kindergarten, and 4 years of age by September 1st to enroll in Pre-K. NOTE: Pre-K applicants must meet one of the following additional criteria – Verifying documentation will be required:
* Economically Disadvantaged – household income is within the federal guidelines for eligibility in the National School Lunch Program
* English as a Second Language
* Dependent of an active duty military family of the United States Armed Forces
* Dependent of a member of the United States Armed Forces who was killed while on active duty
* Currently or previously in the conservatorship of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services
