About
Young Professional Advocates fosters leadership for and advocacy of the Lena Pope Home, helping to educate the community about the Home’s purpose and work. YPAs learn about Lena Pope Home through unique, meaningful events and service projects.
Mission
Our mission as Young Professional Advocates is to grow future leadership through unity and purpose to support Lena Pope Home’s legacy of strengthening families and developing resilient children.

How to Get Involved
Prospective YPAs can get involved in our organization a few ways:
- Attend one of our quarterly events.
- Volunteer for Friday Fling, a bimonthly opportunity or other volunteer activities
- Participate in our annual service project
- Learn about Lena Pope Home by attending a Community Connection lunch
Members pay an annual fee that covers most events; non-members pay an entry fee at the door. The annual YPA fees are $75 for an individual or $125 for a couple and includes admission to most events. To volunteer, participants must undergo a thorough application process.
