Texas Wesleyan Law Clinic

Serving relative and non-relative caregivers for the children of Tarrant County provided by LPH and Texas Wesleyan School of Law.  Legal assistance provided for powers of attorney, guardianship, custody, simple divorce and simple wills.  Clients must be Tarrant County residents and prove financial need as defined by Legal Aid Requirements.  Program partially funded by United Way.

1. How do I refer to your program?
Referrals can be made by calling 817-255-2652 and asking for information about the Law Clinic.

2. What kind of help do you provide?
We do the initial screening and refer eligible clients to the Texas Wesleyan School of Law.  The law school provides legal assistance for matters including powers of attorney, guardianship, custody, simple divorces, and simple wills.  Clients must reside in Tarrant County, must prove financial need,  and the case must involve minor children.

3. What is the focus of the program?
The focus is to provide help to the relative and non-relative caregivers for the children of Tarrant County.
